10/1: New painting – dusk in the woods
I was aiming to produce around 4 studies today.
Ended up with one which came out ok but this has some good elements which have to be developed further.

no problem. I often come across challenging days when I’m painting. The trick is to just keep exploring the possibilities. Paint can lead you in so many different directions which is one of the reasons I’m passionate about finding out what it can do. No wonder the famous painters of the past were in their 70’s when they became masters of their art!
