I’ve just started a huge journey into the world of applying colour onto colour backgrounds instead of putting colour onto white. I’m really getting into it. I know that historically it’s not a new thing but I love the fact that I’m constantly discovering new techniques and methods.
The small drawings I did today are quick experiments but really rewarding. I may stay with quick experiments for a while – it’s fun. I sat drawing – no sorry – colouring. It felt like I was a child colouring in. This child had a good cup of coffee, some great music on the laptop. Being able to create even the smallest artwork gives me immense satisfaction. More soon…
